Kort gezegd
Pass the Glass verzamelt geen gegevens. Alles wat je invoert blijft op je eigen telefoon. Er is geen account, geen server, geen reclame en geen tracking.
Wat de app bewaart
De app bewaart alleen op jouw telefoon:
- proeverijen: de naam van de proeverij, de namen van de proevers, de wijnen (met jaargang, prijs en wie de fles meebracht, als je die invult) en de scores;
- groepen die je bewaart: een naam en de namen van de proevers;
- Mijn wijnen: je eigen wijnen met je score en notities, en de wijnen van afgeronde proeverijen met de score van de groep;
- foto's van etiketten die je maakt of uit je fotobibliotheek kiest.
Wij kunnen deze gegevens niet zien. Ze worden nergens naartoe gestuurd.
Camera
De app vraagt toegang tot de camera, zodat je een foto van het etiket kunt maken. Je kunt ook een foto uit je fotobibliotheek kiezen; de app ziet dan alleen die ene foto. De foto wordt alleen in de app bewaard en niet verstuurd.
Delen
Je kunt een uitslag of een wijn delen als afbeelding. Op een uitslag staan de wijnen, de scores en de namen van de proevers. Delen gebeurt alleen als jij op de deelknop tikt, via het deelmenu van iOS, naar de app of persoon die jij kiest. Kies je "Bewaar afbeelding", dan vraagt iOS of de app de afbeelding in je foto's mag zetten. Wat een andere app met de afbeelding doet, valt onder het privacybeleid van die app.
Beoordeling
Na een paar proeverijen kan iOS je één keer per versie vragen de app te beoordelen in de App Store. Dat loopt via Apple; wij zien niet wie wat beoordeelt.
Feedback
Als je in de app op Feedback tikt, opent je eigen mail-app met een mail aan ons. Stuur je die mail, dan ontvangen wij je e-mailadres en je bericht, net als bij elke andere mail. We gebruiken ze alleen om je vraag of idee te lezen en te beantwoorden. De app zelf verstuurt niets.
Back-ups
Als je iCloud-back-up of een back-up op je computer gebruikt, neemt iOS de gegevens van de app daarin mee. Dat regel je zelf in de instellingen van je telefoon.
Verwijderen
Je kunt proeverijen en wijnen in de app verwijderen. Verwijder je de app, dan zijn alle gegevens weg.
Leeftijd
De app gaat over wijn en is bedoeld voor mensen van 18 jaar en ouder. Drink met mate.
Wijzigingen
Als dit beleid verandert, zetten we de nieuwe versie op deze pagina, met een nieuwe datum.

In short
Pass the Glass does not collect any data. Everything you enter stays on your own phone. There is no account, no server, no advertising and no tracking.
What the app stores
The app stores only on your phone:
- tastings: the name of the tasting, the names of the tasters, the wines (with vintage, price and who brought the bottle, if you enter them) and the scores;
- groups you save: a name and the names of the tasters;
- My Wines: your own wines with your score and notes, and the wines of finished tastings with the group's score;
- photos of labels that you take or choose from your photo library.
We cannot see this data. It is not sent anywhere.
Camera
The app asks for camera access so you can take a photo of the label. You can also choose a photo from your photo library; the app then only sees that one photo. The photo is kept only inside the app and is not sent anywhere.
Sharing
You can share a result or a wine as an image. A result shows the wines, the scores and the names of the tasters. Sharing only happens when you tap the share button, through the iOS share sheet, to the app or person you choose. If you choose "Save Image", iOS asks whether the app may add the image to your Photos. What another app does with the image is covered by that app's privacy policy.
Rating
After a few tastings, iOS may ask you once per version to rate the app in the App Store. This goes through Apple; we cannot see who rates what.
Feedback
If you tap Feedback in the app, your own mail app opens with an email to us. If you send it, we receive your email address and your message, as with any other email. We only use them to read and answer your question or idea. The app itself sends nothing.
Backups
If you use iCloud Backup or a backup on your computer, iOS includes the app's data in it. You control this in your phone's settings.
Deleting
You can delete tastings and wines in the app. If you delete the app, all of its data is gone.
Age
The app is about wine and is intended for people aged 18 and over. Please drink responsibly.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will publish the new version on this page with a new date.
